DETAIL ITINERARY

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (D)

Upon arrival at the airport, you will meet our guide and transfer to hotel for check-in. This afternoon you will take a short walk inside Hanoi Old quarter to visit Ancient House 87 Ma May street, Hang Gai “silk” street, Hang Duong “candy” street, Hoan Kiem lake and enjoy water puppet show in Thang Long theatre, a living portrait of Vietnamese history and culture. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi – Bai Tu Long bay (B,L,D)

Start at 9:00 with private transfer to Halong City. This transfer takes around 3 hours. We may stop enroute to admire the local scenery. Arrive at the port around 12:30 and board the ship. Begin sailing and pass through a magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons’ teeth. After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay dotted with golden sails, go swimming on a quiet beach or sunbath on the sundeck. Later in the afternoon, visit an interesting fishing village with an opportunity to interact with local people who have been living in the bay for almost three generations. Back on board, enjoy a seafood dinner. Overnight on Halong cruise.

Day 3: Halong – Hanoi (B,L)

Starting your day with Tai Chi on the Sundeck while complimentary tea & coffee are served. Have buffet breakfast in dining room. Afterwards, you will explore the Surprise Cave (Sung Sot), the most famous cave of Halong. Walk up about 100 steps to the cave entrance and tour the cave for approximately 45 minutes. Walk down about 100 steps and return to the boat.

10.00: Upon return to the boat you will have 30 minutes to freshen up and finish packing. Please remove all of your belongings from the cabins, you may leave heavy luggage outside of the cabins (staff will transfer directly to the pier). Enjoy set menu lunch in the dining room. Relax on the sundeck or in the dining room enjoying the bay scenery before we approach the pier.

At 17.00 you arrive at your hotel in Hanoi. Free leisure at your own discovery in Hanoi city center at night. There are many bars, shops and night clubs around your hotel for your night entertainment. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 4: Hanoi – Flight to Saigon (B,D)

Morning flight to Saigon. Upon arrival at the airport, you will meet our guide and transfer to hotel for check-in. This afternoon you will take a walk on Dong Khoi street, the most bustling street and also a typical image of this economic center of Vietnam. Take memorial photos in front of Saigon Committee Hall, the symbol of Saigon. Visit Reunification palace, one of the most fascinating things to see in Saigon. During Vietnam War, under the Saigon regime, the Reunificaton palace always symbolized the power of the government of “South Vietnam.” In the end, on the morning of April 30, 1975, a tank of the Liberation forces crashed into the iron gate of the palace terminating the existence of a regime. Enjoy special buffet dinner with traditional music on Saigon river cruise, where you can cast your view back the splendid city at night. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 5: Saigon – Ben Tre – Can Tho (B,L)

Morning departure for Mekong delta. After 2 hour drive, you arrive in Ben Tre provice, board a boat cruising along  beautiful zigzag canals. Then take a motor cart through some tranquil villages where you could admire rice fields, vegetables gardens… visit a local family who earns living by rice paper and coconut candy. Have lunch at “Green Coconut” riverside restaurant.

After that, take rowing-boat along water palm creek. In the late afternoon, you leave Ben Tre province to Can Tho via Rach Mieu, My Thuan and Can Tho bridges. Check in upon arrival. Having dinner and free time for sightseeing. Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 6: Can Tho – Flight to Phu Quoc (B,L)

After breakfast, you’re transfered to Ninh Kieu wharf, then boarding a  motorboat for sightseeing Cai Rang which is biggest and colourful floating market in Mekong delta. From the early morning, the waterway becomes a maze of hundreds of boats packed with fruits, vegetables, plants, foods, etc… Sellers hang a sample of what they have from the top of a long pole so that buyers can see from a distance what they are selling.Then take motorboat along small leafy creeks to local orchard and enjoy tropical seasonal fruits (included). Around 10:30 come back to hotel, have free time for sightseeing or cycling around. 12:00 check out and enjoy Vietnamese lunch in a local restaurant before taking a short flight to Phu Quoc “pearl island”. Meet our driver in Phu Quoc airport then private transfer to your hotel.

In the evening, you can take a taxi by yourselves to Night market, which offers the cheapest seafood of Vietnam. Taste hundreds of seafood choices. Take the time to review the different stand stalls, as prices might fluctuate a lot from one vendor to another. Ideal for seafood lovers and great value for money. A huge sole filet can cost as little as 3 USD. Overnight in Phu Quoc.

Day 7: Phu Quoc – South island snorkling and sightseeings (B,L)

Today you will join a small group tour to discover the hidden charm of the tropical island and the local specialties. You will visit Phu Quoc Pearl Farm and find out procedures of pearl production. A wide collection of cultured pearls is also displayed for your contemplation and shopping. Proceed to An Thoi islands in the Southern Phu Quoc. The best way to explore the wonders of An Thoi archipelago is by boat. This underwater world is visually impressive from above and below the water. The diverse mangroves, beaches, hidden coves and uninhabited islands are parts of the beauty of Phu Quoc island. You will know the meaning of remote and undiscovered as we head out in our own charter boat to explore some secret spots hidden in the 12 An Thoi islands due south of Phu Quoc. On this tour, you will be able to snorkel numerous remote locations, and discover an uninhabited island of An Thoi archipelago. Fishing can also be made along the way. Visit Sao beach, a not-to-miss beach where sea, sand & sun blended in a perfect harmony.

On the way back, you stop to visit a pepper garden, which is captivated by word of “itsy-bitsy teeny-weeny peppercorns” of patient growers. A traditional fish sauce factory: Learn about the Phu Quoc fish sauce production and enjoy the unique aromatic flavor of Phu Quoc fish sauce. Overnight in Phu Quoc.

Day 8: Phu Quoc – Free leisure (B)

Breakfast and free beach leisure. Overnight in Phu Quoc.

Day 9: Phu Quoc – Departure (B)

Breakfast and private airport transfer from your hotel to Phu Quoc international airport. Say goodbye to Vietnam and see you next time. End of services.
