DETAIL ITINERARY

Day 1: Taipei – Arrival (no meals)

Welcome to Taiwan !

Upon arrival at Tao Yuan International Airport, you’re transferred for Hotel Check-in (with Driver only). Overnight in Taipei.

Day 2: Taipei – Flight to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh city) – Buffet dinner on Saigon river (B,L,D)

This morning you take the onwards flight departing for Saigon (Ho Chi Minh city). Private airport see-off car with driver in Taiwan is arranged.

Welcome to Saigon, the economic center of Vietnam, also the center for exotic entertainment, food & beverages and family vacation.

Upon arrival, you meet our tour guide in Saigon and enjoy welcome lunch. Free leisure in the afternoon after your long flight. At 19:00, our tour guide and driver pick you up to Bach Dang pier for your special buffet dinner on Saigon river cruise with traditional music performance. It’s the ideal place for dining out and looking at the splendid city at night. Return to your hotel and overnight in Saigon.

Day 3: Saigon – Cu Chi tunnels (B,L)

Depart Saigon city at 8:30am for Cu Chi district. Leaving the city behind, the scenery changes to views of rice paddies, villagers drying noodles by the side of the road and other scenes typical to southern Vietnam. Arrive and start the visit of the famous Cu Chi Tunnels which consist of an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters (Viet Cong) during both the French and American wars. Start the visit with the Ben Dinh or Ben Duoc sections of the tunnel. Here you can imagine what it was like to be a guerrilla complete with Russian Kalasnikov rifles AK 47′s on display. At noon journey back to Saigon city to visit War Remnants museum, focusing on exhibits relating to the American period of the Vietnam War. Walk to Nortre Dame cathedral and Ben Thanh market, other city icons. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 4: Saigon – My Tho – Mekong delta (B,L)

Enjoy a full day tour traveling from Ho Chi Minh City to My Tho, the gateway to the Mekong Delta. Known as the “rice bowl” of Vietnam, the Delta is the most fertile region in the country, and the main producer of rice and tropical fruits. From My Tho, take a boat and travel to one of the islands located in the middle of the Mekong River. On the island visit a fruit orchard and sample some of the local produce, before boarding a smaller sampan that winds along narrow canals. You also have the opportunity to visit a local family’s house and enjoy their hospitality and share with them some tea or rice wine. Return to Saigon. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 5:  Saigon city tour – Flight to Nha Trang – Beach leisure (B)

Morning city tour in inner Saigon to visit Reunification palace. It was the site of the end of the Vietnam War during the Fall of Saigon on April 30 1975, now turning into a museum recalling the former South Vietnam President House. Walk to visit Nortre Dame cathedral nearby since 1880 and enjoy its special neo-Romanesque style of architecture affected by French. Take memorial photos in front of Saigon Committee Hall, the city symbol before checking out your hotel at noon then private transfer to Saigon airport for your short flight to Nha Trang, the beach paradise of Vietnam. Enjoy warm sunshine, turquoise water and world-class beaches. Airport transfer with driver is arranged. Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 6: Nha Trang – Beach leisure (B)

Day 8: Nha Trang – Flight to Da Nang – Hoi An (B,L)

Morning flight to Da Nang and take a short transfer with our local guide to Hoi An Old quarter upon your arrival. Check in your hotel. Enjoy lunch with local specialities in Hoi An. This afternoon is for your walking tour inside the Old quarter, a UNESCO World Heritage. Discover the history of a prosperous seaport city during the 16th to 18th centuries. Visit Hoi An’s colourful local market, Tan Ky old house, Fukian Assembly Hall, and the iconic 400-year-old Japanese covered bridge. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 9: Hoi An – Tra Que village – Cam Thanh village (B,L)

A fullday exploring Hoi An and its surroundings with a cultural immersion sightseeing experience. Cycle through the region and interact with the locals as you take part in their daily activities. Your day begins with a cycle to Tra Que vegetable village. Here you will meet the farmers and join the farming activities. Then continue along the De Vong River to the Hoi An Beach wharf. Here you will board a boat and ride to the Cua Dai sand dune, where local fishermen will instruct you on the art of casting nets. The next stop is Cam Thanh coconut village, where you will learn more about the locas’ life. Then board a basket boat and let fishermen teach you how to catch crabs. Afterward, you will compete in a basket boat race and in a competition to see who can catch the most crabs, and the winning team will receive a prize. Return to the wharf and cycle back to your hotel. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 10: Hoi An – My Son – Afternoon free leisure (B)

This morning is for your halfday excursion to My Son sanctuary, a chain of 70 ancient Champa towers from the 4th to the 13rd century. Take about 2-hour stroll among the UNESCO World Heritages and touch the history. Our tour guide will tell you more about the formation of Champa kingdom, their unique archtecture, religion and the culture exchange with Great Viet into a Vietnamese culture till presence. This is also an ecology tour because the towers are located among the forest.

Return to Hoi An for your own discovery inside the Old quarter in the afternoon. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 11: Hoi An – Da Nang – Flight to Siem Reap (B,D)

Free morning at your own discovery in Hoi An town. Check out your hotel at 12:00noon and private transfer with driver to Da Nang international airport. Flight to Siem Reap.

Welcome to Siem Reap, home to Angkor Wat, one of the largest religious complexes in the world, and a stunning array of 9th to 13th century temples built by the kings of the Khmer Empire.

Upon arrival at Siem Reap airport, our tour guide at Siem Reap office will meet you and transfer you to hotel for check in. Special welcome dinner is arranged. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 12: Angkor Wat – Angkor Thom – Bayon faces (B,L)

Early morning, view sunrise at Ta Prohm “the Royal Monastery” then transfer back to hotel for breakfast. The same morning, visit Angkor Wat, South gate of Angkor Thom with Bayon, Baphoun, Phimeanakas, Elephant Terrace, Terrace of Leper King, Ta Promh and Srah Srang.

After lunch, visit Chau Say Tevoda, Takeo. Have an sunset overview of the Magical temple City of Angkor Wat from Phnom Bakheng. Transfer back to inner city to explore the night life especially in Angkor Night market. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 13: Optional Quad motorbiking in Siem Reap countryside – Evening flight to Hanoi (B,D)

A 21km easy ride that takes around the beautiful Wat Athwea pagoda. We make sure we take the easiest routes, so even if you’re a little nervous of riding a quad, we promise you’ll find it fun. Standard quads are well maintained and are a safe. It is a fun way to see the surrounding countryside. Join this activity together and take a ride through the villages, rice paddies and temples of Siem Reap province and get a real insight into this beautiful country and its friendly people.

Upon your arrival in Hanoi, you’re welcomed by our guide and private transfer to a local restaurant to check in. Light dinner with “Pho bo” beef-noodle bowl – the spirital dish of Vietnam. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 14: Hanoi – Halong – Overnight on cruise (B,L,D)

Start at 8:30 with shuttle bus transfer to Halong City. You can leave your big luggages in the hotel lobby (Free luggage handling). This transfer takes around 3 hours. We may stop enroute to admire the local scenery. Arrive at the port around 12:30 and board the ship. Begin sailing and pass through a magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons’ teeth. After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay dotted with golden sails, go swimming on a quiet beach or sunbath on the sundeck. Later in the afternoon, visit an interesting fishing village with an opportunity to interact with local people who have been living in the bay for almost three generations. Back on board, enjoy a seafood dinner and overnight on Halong cruise.

Day 15: Halong – Hanoi (B,L)

Starting your day with Tai Chi on the Sundeck while complimentary tea & coffee are served. Have buffet breakfast in dining room. Afterwards, you will explore the Surprise Cave (Sung Sot), the most famous cave of Halong. Walk up about 100 steps to the cave entrance and tour the cave for approximately 45 minutes. Walk down about 100 steps and return to the boat.

10.00: Upon return to the boat you will have 30 minutes to freshen up and finish packing. Please remove all of your belongings from the cabins, you may leave heavy luggage outside of the cabins (staff will transfer directly to the pier). Enjoy set menu lunch in the dining room. Relax on the sundeck or in the dining room enjoying the bay scenery before we approach the pier. Drive to Hanoi through Red river delta. At 17.00 you arrive at your hotel in Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 16: Hanoi – Flight to Taipei (B,D)

Free leisure & check out your hotel 3 hours before your flight departure time then private transfer to Hanoi international airport. On the way, you will stop at Ho Chi Minh Complex to take memorial photos of Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum – the final resting place of the beloved national hero former President Ho Chi Minh, and Ba Dinh historic square where Ho Chi Minh declared the Independence of Vietnam on 2-Sep-1945.

Flight departs for Taipei. Pick up from Taoyuan Airport at 04:05pm. Transfer to visit Taoyuan Night Market. Dinner and overnight in Taipei.

Day 17: Taipei – Departure (B)

After early breakfasy, you’re transferred to airport. Your flight departs at  08:30am. Say goodbye to Taiwan. End of services.
