DETAIL ITINERARY

Day 1: Da Nang arrival (D)
Arrival Da Nang. You meet and we drive to your hotel in Da Nang for overnight. Dinner at local restaurant.

Day 2: Da Nang – Son Tra peninsula – Hoi An (B,L)

Start our private day-tour at 8:00am. You visit Marble mountain, a well-known pilgrimage site with peaks, caves, tunnels and temples all just waiting to be discovered. Named after the elements metal, wood, water, fire and earth, Marble Mountains exist in a coastal area that is renowned for stone-cutting and sculpture about 9km south of Da Nang. Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, you’re transferred to Son Tra Peninsula to visit Linh Ung pagoda, the 800-year banyan tree, and the Ban Co peak at 696m where you can see the overview of Da Nang city and Pacific ocean. Visit Tien Lighthouse 1 of the 10 most ancient lighthouses of Vietnam. Son Tra is nicknamed as “the only jungle inside the city” with 289 fauna and flora species with dozens of small beaches where you can swim and enjoy turquoise water.

Enjoy lunch in Hoi An, then afternoon you stroll around the criss-cross streets of Hoi An old quarter. Visit Tan Ky ancient house, Fukian assembly hall, Japansese pagoda bridge and a tailor shop if you request. Turn back to your hotel in Da Nang.

Day 3: Da Nang – My Son sanctuary (B)

Depart at 8:30am by private car. We travel about 60km from Hoi An to My Son sanctuary. It comprises many Champa temples, in a valley roughly two kilometers wide, surrounded by two mountain ranges. It was the site of religious ceremony of kings of the Champa dynasty, and was also a burial place of Champa royals and national heroes. The My Son temple complex is one of the foremost temple complexes of Hinduism in South East Asia and is the foremost heritage site of this nature in Vietnam. Though the complex has been destroyed over time, we still see many majestic ancient ruins of temples in the area.

Arrive in My Son at 9:00am. Walk around with your guide for 2 hours to see the historic and cultural ruins of the 16th century, you will be brought back to the glorious time of the Champa civilization. Then leave My Son. End at your hotel in Da Nang at around noon.

Day 4: Da Nang – Hue by train (B,L)

Morning private transfer with guide from your hotel to Hue train station. You take the train code TN2 from Da Nang 8:35am to Hue 12:06 noon (soft-seats) through Hai Van mountain pass with splendid view, 1 side is Truong Son mountain, 1 side is Pacific ocean. Upon arrival in Hue, you check in hotel and enjoy lunch. Afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Perfume River. Enjoy this romantic cruise and visit Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the oldest ancient architectural structures for religious worship in Hue. Overnight in Hue.

Day 5: Hue – Tam Giang lagoon (B,D)

Morning, enjoy city tour to visit the Imperial Citadel – first built by King Gia Long in 1805. Here you will visit Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, The Mieu Temple, and the Nine Dynastic Urns and Khai Dinh tomb. It is the result of the interminglement of many architectural trends: European and Asian, as well as ancient and modern.

In the morning, you will visit the Forbidden City and the Imperial Citadel, the magnificent tomb of Vietnam’s last monarch Khai Dinh. Enjoy this romantic cruise along the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the oldest ancient architectural structures for religious worship in Hue.

In the afternoon, you’re transferred to Tam Giang – Cau Hai lagoon passing through Bao Vinh ancient town. Photo stops along the roads or guests can make a video about family temples, green rice fields or live activities of farmers. Stop at Vinh Tu wharf and Tam Giang club-house.

At 15.00, you embark the boat to explore the largest Southeast Asia’s lagoon. See the local watery life and can cast the fishing net or capture shrimps by yourselves under the tour guide instruction. Learn the way how the local do with their own daily activities. Enjoy a local pinic seafood dinner right on the boat or in a floating house. Enjoy the sunset down on the lagoon.

At 18:00, return to your hotel in Hue city center. Overnight in Hue.

Day 6: Hue – Da Nang airport – Departure (B)

Morning check out your hotel then private car transfer to Da Nang airport. Flight back home. Say goodbye to Vietnam and see you next time. End of services.
