On this 8-day cultural tour, you will touch Myanmar, a mysterious country hidden from the west for many years, to explore the hustle and bustle Yangon and the exotic Mandalay, and you will have a short relaxation at the end of the tour in Inle lake, the most famous of Myanmar.
Travel route: Yangon – Bagan – Mandalay – Heho – Pindaya – Inle lake – Yangon – Departure

Day 1: Yangon Arrival (D)
Arrive in Yangon, meet at Airport and transfer to Hotel. Enjoy welcome dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight in Yangon.
Day 2: Yangon – Bagan (B,L)
Transfer to airport, Yangon / Bagan by flight. Arriving at Bangan, transfer to hotel. Start the tour with a visit to ancient capital of ‘Bagan’ and discover its architecture dated from 10 -13century AD. When talking about Bagan, it is needless to say about Buddhism that has flourished together with Bagan culture. Go sightseeing in Bagan including Nyaung Oo Market; a village market where you can find from wet market of fish and meat to house hold things like rattan baskets, cotton wear and antiques. Visit the golden Shwezigon Pagoda – prototype golden stupa, Gubyaukgyi Temple – small temple good for panoramic view and famous for it’s frescoe paintings of 12th century. Check in at hotel & rest.
Afternoon visit Ananda Temple. The Ananda Temple is a very decorative palace for the God. The diversity of the decorative motifs and sculptures, which are always assigned a fixed space include fantastic animals – the Chinthe-, the saints, – Makaras -, as well as – Nagas and Nayas – snakes and dragons. Then go to Lacquerware Mill and stroll around the viallage of Myinkaba, visit Manuha Temple (the temple of captive king of Tha-ton), and Pyattadagyi Temple for panoramic view of the city.

Day 3: Bagan (B,L)
Morning drive to Southeast of Bagan: visit Minnanthu village to see daily life style of Bagan people, visit Tayoke-pyay temple for panoramic view of the city, visit Lemyethna Temple; Payaathonzu Temple and Nandamanya Temples for fresco painting of 12th century, and visit Damayasaka Stupa – a pentagonal shaped pagoda. After lunch, (around 14:30) take a boat to Kyauk-Ku Umin. Walk along the small path through mountain to the meditation cave made of sand stone in the 12 century. Visit around to see the stone-relief, stucco of the temple and return back to Bagan at sunset.

Day 4: Bagan – Mandalay (B,L)
Transfer to airport. Bagan / Mandalay by flight. Visit to MahaGandayon Buddhist Monastery to observe the life style of thousands of Buddhist monks, Silk-weaving, U-Bein wooden bridge constructed across the TaungThaMann Lake and Mahamuni Image – a place of Intense devotion to pilgrims from all over the world. Transfer to hotel. Afternoon go sightseeing in Mandalay with Shwenandaw – the Golden Palace Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda – the world’s largest book and watch the sunset from Mandalay Hill with the view of dotted pagodas and Ayeyarwaddy River.
Overnight in Mandalay.
Day 5: Mandalay – Heho – Pindaya (B,L)
Morning, free at leisure until transfer to airport for flight to Heho.
Arrival Heho, meet our guide and transfer to Pindaya to visit Pindaya with Pindaya Lake, Pindaya Caves, Shan Umbrella and mulberry paper production home industry.
Overnight in Heho.
Day 6: Heho – Inle (B,L)
Morning, drive to Inle (2.5 hrs). Start your boat trip on Inle Lake – a photographer’s dream, its calm waters are dotted with floating vegetation and fishing canoes, to which scenic high hills provide the perfect backdrop. See the lake’s unique “leg rowers” – the Intha people row standing up with one leg wrapped around an oar. You will see the floating gardens, growing vegetables and flowers. Also visit Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery, famous for its “jumping cats”. Stop to see silk weaving on wooden handlooms. Visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the holiest religious site in southern Shan State. Stop at a blacksmith shop, and other places as time allows. (Visit to traditional 5day market if on the same day with the market’s dates.).
Overnight in Heho.
Day 7: Heho – Yangon (B,L)
Drive to Heho airport, Heho / Yangon by flight. Arrive in Yangon. Transfer to hotel and refresh. Go sightseeing in Yangon with walking around the city and learning the history of Yangon filled with colonial buildings around 200 years ago. Stop at Bogyoke market. Evening visit the world famous Shwedagon Pagoda to enjoy the very special light and atmosphere at sunset.
Overnight in Yangon.
Day 8: Yangon Departure (B)
Transfer to airport for departure flight. End of our services.
