Day 1: Yangon Arrival (D)

Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, welcome by our local tour guide and transfer to your hotel for check in. In the afternoon, begin your tour with Yangon’s colonial style city center. Visit Sule Pagoda, Bogyoke (Scott) Market and Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha Image. Complete your day with Shwedagon Pagoda, landmark of Myanmar. Dinner at Karaweik Palace restaurant by watching cultural shows. Overnight in Yangon.

Day 2: Yangon – Golden Rock (B)

After breakfast, drive to Golden Rock (driving hour about 4 hours). One the way, we visit Htaukkyant War Cemetery. Then proceed to Golden Rock. On arrival at pilgrim-village which is a starting point to the famous Golden Rock, we first take a truck and then enjoy the trekking to Golden Rock, it will take about 1 hour up the hill to enjoy the sunset at the Golden Rock. The famous ‘Golden Rock’ is a sacred, massive gold-leafed boulder delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff near the top of Mt. Kyaikhtiyo and it is one of the most revered Buddhist shrines. Overnight in Kyaikhto.

Day 3: Golden Rock – Bago – Yangon  (B)

After breakfast, drive back to Yangon. On the way, visit  Bago which was an ancient capital of Mon Kingdom in 15th century and enjoy the Bago sightseeing including Shwethalyaung Reclining Buddha (55 metres long), Shwemawdaw Pagoda, Myo Ma Local Market, 28 meter high huge Buddha Image of Kyaikpun Pagoda, Chinese Kwanyin Temple and upon your interest, you can visit the Kanbawzathardi Palace of King Bayinnaung. Then drive back to Yangon and overnight in Yangon.

Day 4: Yangon – Bagan (B)

Early morning flight to Nyaung U (Bagan). Upon arrival, start your Bagan sightseeing with Shwezigon (the most beautiful stupa in Bagan) and Wetkyiinn Gubyaukgyi with exquisite mural paintings. Other interesting sites are Tharabar Gate (the entrance of Bagan City Wall dated AD 876), Ananda Temple with four huge standing Buddha images, Lawkahteikpan Pahto (fine mural paintings) and Bupaya (the oldest stupa in Bagan). Enjoy sunset at Shwesandaw Pagoda. Overnight in Bagan.

Day 5: Bagan (B)

After breakfast, visit Nyaung U morning market. You will have a chance to explore ways of life of local people. And then continue to visit Nagayon, Abeyadana, Sulamani, Payathonzu and Myinkaba Gubyaukgyi (famous for its interesting story). In the afternoon, your sightseeing will be more lively by Htilominlo (great motifs and plaster curving), Manuha Temple (the impressive reclining image) and Nanpaya (sand stone temple). Excursion and shopping at traditional lacquerware home industry is a chance to buy souvenirs for your friends and relatives. Overnight in Bagan.

Day 6: Bagan – Popa – Sale – Bagan (B)

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Mt. Popa, an extinct volcano over 1500m high, which is about 48km south east of Bagan. Excursion of stupas, monasteries and Nat worship shrines. In the afternoon, proceed to Salay, an old town with ancient ruins from the Bagan era. Interesting places in Salay are Youpson wooden monastery,Payathonzu complex and Man Paya- the largest lacquer Buddha image in Myanmar. Come back to Bagan and overnight at Arthawka hotel.

Day 7: Bagan -Mandalay (B)

Drive to Heho airport for the domestic flight to Mandalay. Drive to Amarapura and visit Mahagandayone Monastery where more than one thousands of monks live and study. Visit U Bein Bridge across Taungthaman Lake, over150 years old and which is still in use. In the afternoon, visit Mahamuni Pagoda, ShwenandawMonastery(noted for its exquisite wood carvings), Atumashi Monastery and Kuthodaw Pagoda(known as the world’s Biggest Book). Enjoy the sunset from Mandalay Hill. Overnight at hotel.

Day 8: Mandalay – Mingun – Sagaing – Ava – Mandalay (B)

An excursion by boat on the Ayeyarwaddy River to Mingun, 11km upriver from Mandalay. Visit unfinished MingunPaya, MingunBell(90 tons) and HsinbyumePaya. Come back to Mandalay. In the afternoon, drive to Sagaing and visit Kaung Mu Daw Pagoda. Take a short boat ride to Ava (the former Royal Capital). Your excursion will include Nanmyint Watch Tower, MahaAungmyeBonzan Monastery, Bargaya Monastery famous for its impressive ornate woodcarvings and teak posts. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

Day 9: Mandalay – Pindaya (B)

After breakfast, drive to Pindaya (9hr). There will be stops for photo shooting and refreshment during the trip. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10: Pindaya – Nyaung Shwe – Inle (B)

Visit Pindaya caves where thousands of Buddha images have been placed by devotees throughout the centuries. Observe how the paper parasols are being made at a small workshop at the foot of Shwe OO Min Hill, the bamboo hat making factory and the umbrella factory. Drive to Nyaung Shwe, the main gateway to Inle Lake. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11: Inle – Indein – Inle (B)

Your excursion on Inle Lake will include Phaungdawoo Pagoda, Ngaphechaung Monastery, Thalay U and Innpawkhone silk weaving factory. Proceed to visit Indein village where many ancient pagodas are located, cheroot making villages, pottery villages, blacksmith workshops, villages of Padaung people and daily life of local people. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12: Inle – Heho – Yangon (B)

After breakfast, transfer to airport for your flight to Yangon. Visit Kaba Aye Pagoda (World Peace Pagoda) built for memorial of the 1954-56 sixth Buddhist Synod, Kyauktawgyi Pagoda where there are white elephants and Buddha Tooth Relic Pagoda. . In the afternoon, visit Botahtaung Pagoda. Overnight at hotel.

Day 13: Yangon Departure (B)

Free at your own leisure till transfer to Yangon International airport for your departure flight. End of services.
